What a Crazy, Wild Year it has Been!

"A lot can happen in a year!" 😳 This, my friends, is a complete understatement when it comes to the last 365 days! Exactly one year ago today I nearly 💩 my pants as I pressed "Go Live" for the very first time on Facebook! It took me about 4 days and hours of practicing to get up the nerve to take this major leap.

At the time, my goal was to create a small side opportunity, connect with new clients online, and pursue professional development beyond what was capable in my current career. I was excited about the possibilities but also scared to death of falling flat on my face. Fast forward one year! NEVER in my wildest dreams could I have ever imagined being where I am today in such a short period of time!

Now I have worked my butt off pretty much 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since that very first video. However, I know for sure that my success over the past year has been largely due to the amazing support and encouragement from the people around me! I look back on that 1st video and it now has 9K views, my friends and family shared it 42 times, 74 people took the time to post a comment of support and 237 people liked it! And for that I just have to say from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

At the time, I was overwhelmed by your support and encouragement and 365 days later the feeling remains the same! I am so incredibly grateful to every single one of you and there are definitely a few special people that deserve a mention. Starting with my incredible circle of friends and family. I have the most AMAZING friends and family ever. From day one they had my back, they were my first clients and they didn't unfollow me on social media despite my annoying post and videos! 😂 I really wish I could name them all but there are so many that come to mind right now! You know who you are and I ❤️ U!

I must also thank the powerhouse and true force of nature that is Amanda Tress and her amazing team at the Agency Side. Amanda helped me take my knowledge and passion for health and wellness to the next level. She taught me how to scale an online business, pushed me incredibly far out of my comfort zone, and taught me how to dream BIG, like really big! Then, after all that, she taught me how to be really damn good at it! I know that her mentorship alongside the incredible Lindsey Murray are a huge reason I am at this place just one year later. It is going to be very hard to find a team to match this dynamic duo. Ladies, I tip my hat to you both, you are the BEST!

16 years ago, I was just a young dietitian with zero Bariatrics experience and at that time two people gave me the opportunity to be a part of something really special. Thank you Dr Ed Nighbert and Karen Hillenmeyer for believing in me and giving me the chance to be apart of your amazing surgical weight loss program from day one. I basically idolize you for your smarts and compassion and have learned so much from the both of you. However, Karen I have to say that I feel so fortunate to have worked under such a smart, driven, and powerful woman like yourself. From day one I aimed to be like you, I wanted to achieve the type of professional success that you had achieved, I wanted to be as smart as you and I hoped one day to be able to command the type of respect that you had earned from your peers and colleagues. You have been such a powerful and positive female remodel in my life and I will forever be grateful for all that you have taught me and for the genuine support you have always given me. I ❤️ U!

And last but certainly not least I MUST thank my amazing husband, Hunter. There has been no bigger cheerleader by my side, and there is NO WAY IN HELL I could be at this point without you. Those who know me well know that he is truly a saint to put up with me 😜 and I will never be able to thank him enough for keeping our family afloat during this crazy year! Every single day this man has asked me "what can I do to help you?" "what can I do to take some stress off of you?" Seriously, for 365 days straight. While I spent hours working every night after my full time day job on this project he has done 100s of loads of laundry, he has done days and days worth of dishes, he has spent hours on homework and shuttled the kids to and from activities and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Hunter, man do I love you. You really are the BEST husband and the BEST father there ever was. Thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself, for supporting me even when I didn't deserve to be supported, and for helping me in every way possible to get to this point. It would have been impossible to do this alone! I ❤️ U!

There are so many more that I should mention like, Heather for being my right hand man. I could never do all this without you. Billi for being the best manager and friend a girl could have, your support has meant so much to me! And two special girlfriends, Cassie and Kristen for your constant support and determination to keep the fun in my life and Bev alive!

So here's to the next 365 days PLUS!  There is so much changing around me and I'll be honest, I am scared as hell!  At 40 years of age I am making major life shifts and that is scary! BUT in the same breath I am excited and grateful.  I am excited for what's ahead, I am excited to be in complete control of my own potential. I am excited to work my butt off and see the fruits of my labor. Happy one year anniversary to me and from the BOTTOM OF MY HEART, THANK YOU!

 THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
